These styles often feature many pockets and are made from hardy fabrics such as denim and cotton twills. Today's workwear apparel is surprisingly stylish and sophisticated. If you're in the construction industry, or just want to look good in the office, workwear has evolved into a cool, contemporary alternative to business casual.

workwear express

The growth of Workwear Express has resulted in doubled turnover and investment in e-commerce. The personalised workwear, uniforms, and promotional clothing company has also teamed up with Access Training to take on apprentices. Founded in 1990, the company has over 200,000 customers and sells workwear to businesses throughout the UK, Europe, and the US. The company's main challenge was to improve the online user-journey. Custom orders were currently handled manually, and the company had no system for processing customer artwork and approvals.

To address these problems, JH worked to understand Workwear's processes and design a seamless buyer journey. After understanding the business processes, JH facilitated technical discovery workshops, mapped out key pain points, and designed solutions. Working with Workwear, JH learned about the company's existing technology and infrastructure, including its payment gateway, embroidery, and printing machines. Workwear Express incorporated these insights into their product, which has been available since 2014.

The Durham-based company, founded in 1990, now employs almost 300 people. It has two purpose-built factories and fulfilment centres and uses the latest garment decorating technology including print, embroidery, and transfer. The company generates PS29 million in annual revenues and has a growing e-commerce presence. Workwear Express' rapid growth is reflected in the recent acquisition by Bunzl, which is currently ranked sixteenth in the North East's fastest-growing companies.

nurse uniforms

The purpose of nurse uniforms is to distinguish nursing staff from medical personnel. It was traditionally worn by nurses to convey authority and institutional discipline. It also served as a sign of service to physicians, who were typically men and were not required to wear a uniform. In addition to their practical uses, uniforms are symbolic of nursing and the health care profession. Here are some historical examples of nurse uniforms. Let's take a closer look.

The traditional nurse uniform has a variety of advantages, which is why it's important for nurses to wear a uniform. It has been shown to protect patients' skin and prevent infection. Moreover, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a nurse wearing a scrub and a nurse wearing street clothes. It also hinders patients' ability to identify the nurses. Nurses also shouldn't wear jewelry, as they can cause harm to patients' skin and may be grabbed by confused patients. Furthermore, long fingernails or artificial nails can harbor bacteria, increasing the risk of infections.

Scrubs were introduced as a popular choice for nurses in the 1990s. Scrubs are uniforms that are easy to clean, comfortable, and versatile. They're also less expensive than traditional outfits and allow nurses to show their personality through style and color. Scrubs are generally inexpensive to buy and are available in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Most nurses opt for a colorful scrub because they can change their appearance anytime they wish.
